One single perfume ingredient, Calone, is responsible for the appearance of the entire new perfume family of aquatic scents. Calone has an intense "sea-breeze" odor, and opened the fragrances marine trend in the 90' . This famous molecule has been followed by others, some playing with the aqueous effect of waterfruits, like the one of watermelon. Aquatic notes are used as well in feminine and masculine perfumery and offer a very specific longlasting coolness.
