Ambery Cedarwood

When I first sniffed the bottle, I didn't think I'd like it. I was even hesitant when I bought it, but thought I'd try something different that what I'd usually go for. I sprayed it, and gave it a chance to develop, and now I love it. I think this a good year-rounder, with equal florals and warmth. The amber and jasmine balance each other out really well. It smells sweet, but not too sweet that it becomes sickening. It also smells great layered with Ambery Saffron, which just adds a hint of intrigue and wealth to it. This one's an unexpected keeper and might rise to signature scent status.

I have been wearing the Ambery Cedarwood for over a year. I buy a bottle every 3-4 months. This was my absolute favorite smell ever. This month I bought another one and the smell changed completely. I’m so sad and so disappointed that they would keep the same name when it’s clearly NOT the same one. So those of you regular users of this perfume, BEWARE. For new users, it smells “nice” soft. Doesn’t last long. The original lasted all day! I received compliments everywhere I went. RIP Ambery Cedarwood. You will be missed.

I still have Dossier’s original Alien dupe from when it was called Oriental Floral 3 and it listed cashmeran and other notes that are completely gone from this current Ambery Cedarwood monstrosity. This is even worse than even the current formulation of Mugler Alien. Returning. I also have Dossier’s original Angel and I was planning to buy their current Angel dupe but those notes have been reformulated as well.
