Fougere Oud

I love Oud Wood and have smelled many a replica but this just straight up smells like acetone. No sweetness, no wood, no musk, just acetone. I feel like it’s a sign of spoilage which is unfortunate because the reviews sounded great and I bet it would have smelled good at some point. Unfortunately, I bought 2 during the sale and they were the only ones with different packing… the other scents I bought were lovely though!

This has been my go to scent for a few years now and when I restocked this time around, I noticed it wasn’t quite the same. It still smells good but not like the scent I’m so used to and loved. Did they change the formula? It’s subtle, but enough to give just 4 stars because I’m a little disappointed and may have to look for my new signature scent.

6 months ago I bought 6 perfumes from here, my first time. I didn't like any of them at first but I disliked this one the least. Now that it's aged it's developed into a much more true-to-scent woodiness. The syrupy feel has tamed significantly and allowed for better layering.

You can tell they used better quality ingredients than other clone companies do. I highly recommend letting all your new batch perfumes age in a cool dark room or box for at least 2 months. I no longer dislike any of my Dossier purchases, except one but that's personal preference.
